Section 03Permissions & Data Access
Webhook Manager only requests the permissions it needs to list, create, edit, delete, test and reactivate your ServiceM8 webhook subscriptions. It stores no data of its own.
The permissions below match the OAuth scope requested during activation. They let Webhook Manager read your existing webhook subscriptions and create, update or delete them through the ServiceM8 API.
- Webhook subscriptions — list, create, edit, delete, test and reactivate event webhook subscriptions through the ServiceM8 API.
- Reachability checks — send an OPTIONS request to a callback URL to test whether it is reachable.
- Test payloads — POST a small JSON test message to a callback URL to confirm it receives events.
- No data of its own — Webhook Manager does not store any data outside ServiceM8.
Webhook Manager does not read your jobs, customers, invoices or financial data. It manages the subscriptions that tell ServiceM8 where to send event payloads. Those event payloads travel directly from ServiceM8 to the third-party callback URLs you configure — they do not pass through, or get stored by, the add-on.
