Privacy, Support & Release Notes

Calendar Invite stores no data of its own. It reads job, schedule, contact, checklist, staff and template data needed for the workflow, writes a .ics attachment to the job, and sends email through ServiceM8 when you click Send.

The add-on runs inside ServiceM8 using OAuth. It reads the data needed to build the calendar file and email, creates a .ics attachment on the job, and sends the email through ServiceM8. Data is not sent to third parties outside ServiceM8 for this workflow.

  • Data stored by the add-on: none — Calendar Invite stores no data of its own.
  • Job attachment: a .ics file created on the job card.
  • Email: sent through ServiceM8 with your chosen To/CC and attachment.
  • Timezone: your ServiceM8 vendor timezone is used for display times and calendar data.

Support is available through Get In The Cloud DevOps. Release notes are updated with each version — confirm the current version in the add-on store entry before reporting an issue.

Recent versions: 2.4.8 — faster initial load; staff directory and templates load in the background; safer email attachment check; grouped-visit calendar descriptions fixed; support URL updated. 2.4.6–2.4.7 — same-time multi-staff visits grouped; calendar description wording updates.
